FS: Dension iPod and Bluetooth for 996/997
I am removing this from my car for when I sell it. Functions perfectly. Use your OEM PCM to select music, change songs, answer and make phone calls via bluetooth. Music can be played back via Bluetooth or hardwire connection. Reasonably simple install and other than a small microphone, completely hidden from the eye.
Requires PCM with phone keypad to the left of the screen to work with bluetooth phones.
Comes with all wires and connections required for installation.
$400 shipped or picked up.
I can install it for you at the shop for an added price.

BTW - this is an old thread ... suspect Adam has sold the Dension a while ago.
I've done the install on a 997-S Cab - it takes a few hours.
There are a couple of ways to do it - either putting the unit by the CD changer / DVD in the frunk - or behind the head unit. I did it the former way and the worst part is routing the wiring through the frunk firewall and then into the cabin but its doable with perseverance.
People tend to get messed up on the fiber optics but if you follow the Dension instructions, it works.
If you don't have a CD changer already, you will have to get the PCM coded to enable one - the Dension box pretends to be the CD changer on the fiber loop.

Hi Acadian
I have the 500 installed on the frame over the Satnav player in the frunk. It all seems to work ok, but I stalled when it came to getting the BTA microphone lead through the bulkhead
I would appreciate any clues or guidance
Thanks
Geoff
