He's fast and has owned some real fast cars, yours included

Just checked some preliminaries... you are correct.

Real shame about the weather.

Unrelated, I am surprised at the low car count. How does this compare to organizer expectations?

Best,

Matt

I was there today and somehow managed to get my face sun burnt . The first cup race the cars started out on
on full rains and by the end some had switched to full slicks. From then on the track stayed dry all day.
It was on the cool side for a spring day but the weather turned out better than most expected.
I had a lot of fun watching the racing. I won't comment on the organizers expectations but will say this event was only confirmed in March.
From what I saw it was a great start to Porsche racing back in Canada, and am looking forward to the next few years watching this series.
Maybe it's time I gut and cage another Porsche and enter the GT part of the event. Anyone want to sponsor a real fast 993
FFaust, Perry did win both races, wish I was a betting man.

Cheers,
Geoff

Chris,

You were smart to put on sunscreen. I got home and my wife was like how did you get sun burnt?

I said "it's always nice at the track"

As far as sponsorship, Primo was my best sponsor at Targa 2006

Cheers,
Geoff

Wow, Mosport was wet, wetter, wettest ALL day.

Nice pics Chris!
Geoff are you sure it wasn't "wind burn".... not much sun, but lots of wind yesterday!

Those pics are great! Far better than i could get with my iPhone!
By the end of the day we were wishing for more wind to keep the blackflies away. There were so many down in the 'parking lot' that when I got home, a swarm flew out of my frunk!

Great day, over all. I hope this runs for many, many years. As for turnout, I think the crowd was a little underwhelming, probably due to the weather on Saturday. But, it can only get better!
