Talking Rennsport Instructors day: skidpad in the wet

I made a quick video of the other days adventure at the wet skidpad at LCMT. Bruce and Bob somehow got permission to use it this summer for our events to teach car control and show new drivers what it feels like to spin and or lose control. This clip is everyone's first run out so it's pretty funny..we all spin and laugh at each other.
Enjoy!

The skid pad will be used for car control sessions at all our DEs at Le Circuit. Starting with Green, then White. Groups of 5 will spend about 35 minutes on the wet skidpad missing one track session a day as a result.

Bob, Can I get demoted (for 1 run) to try the skidpad?
Chris R., Looks like the guy in the yellow jacket was trying to jack your camera!
Can't wait to see those E88's Chris.

Tks for posting the vid Chris. This was a lot of fun along with being a great tool for learning car control and vision.
Now rain can be fun at the track, although a nice sunny day with those big hoses going will make everyone happy

Cheers,
Geoff

My first club lapping session (many moons ago) was in an absolute downpour! Everyone was nervous, and many didn't want to participate. It was very humbling, and gave you an immediate lesson in respect for track conditions! Talk about evening the field! Skill prevailed over HP that day!
One of the best driving sessions I have ever been to!
