Hi Guys,
-Thought I would share in my experience with Mid West Calipers here in Toronto. What a great bunch of guys. Galvin and his Dad took such good care of me.
I dropped of my calipers on Wednesday of last week and pick them up two days later, ready to go. They have a bunch of colors, but I went with Brembo Red.
During the process, Galvin found I had a seized piston and a couple or worn seals that he replaced. He blew out all the old seals and bleeder valves, brought the calipers down to the thier original state by bead blasting. Unreal. The attention to detail is tremendous!
After baking them, they applied a high temp "Porsche" sticker to the calipers with a heat gun. No clearcoat, but I am sure you could ask for one. I was concerned about a car wash high pressure washer getting the sticker off. "No way, only with a screw driver" said Galvin.
I have to say, I did my research, checked out a few places, but ended up Googling Mid West Calipers and found their reputation stellar. I highly recommend them. Pardon the photos from my Blackberry.
