Default so when do I change the tires

Man, now I'm even spelling tyres as tires
STREWTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so I've winter tires on the didgy carawrong

so when do I change them back to the all seasons in my garage?

Well, I am doing mine next week. There may still be some snow in April, but you wear out winter tires pretty quickly once it hits above 7c or so, so that's my take. The all seasons are ok for a little snow.

Next week for me too.... if I have time.... still waiting for snow to melt in the backyard from last weeks snow storm so I can get wagon access to the shed.....

New tools for me to try out too!


super quiet, oiled compressor. Selling my old (but probably newer) 4hp 13gal directdrive compressor.


it's nice.... 500lbft torque baby....

Anytime now is good unless you have temperature sensitive high performance summer tires. On a mini van, not so much.

oh yeah one other thing can somone dispel or confirm the "myth" that snow tires increase MPG?

I guess it depends on the weather and roads where you are and the condition/type of tires your putting on. I did the change overs on my DD tonight, wifes car tomorrow afternoon.
