FULL 4" Lindsey Racing Exhaust
Hi guys!
Last summer i bought a Lindsey Racing Package (300WRHP) with a FULL 4" Exhaust (100% bolt on with all the brackets, all you need is in the package).
So the Exhaust (639)
Come with options i took:
Magnaflow 4" SS Polished Pipe (150$)
4" Stainless Tip Slash Cut Rolled Lip (107$)
SubTotal: 896$ + 200$ of shipping rate.. because the box size + 50lbs..
--
Total: 1096$ and I dont include taxes!
Unfortunatly, I will not use this Exhaust.. so its for sell!! 100% new, still in the package!
I let it go for only 750$
Please email me at frz [a] hotmail.ca

Do you need a 4" exhaust? Well, that depends. We think you likely do if maximum HP is your goal. On a 2.5L with a long list of mods, but not the biggest and best of everything, we observed a large decrease in exhaust pressure measured between the turbo and cylinder head. With our 3" system and Edlebrodk RPM muffler, the car produced 30 psi of exhaust back pressure at 20 psi of boost in 3rd and 4th gears clear to redline. When we installed the 4" DT system with Flowmaster Race muffler, that exhaust pressure dropped to 25 psi at the same boost level. That's a 5psi drop which is huge! We expect to see a greater drop when we run without a muffler and dump the wastegate to atmosphere for you serious racers.

This engine has a stock head and intake. With head and intake upgrades, and/or a larger turbo, the results would be even more impressive with the greater need to exhaust what's pumped in.
The 4" exhaust will give you more HP and Torque and give it to you sooner.

Bigger is not always better, if the system is too big for the engine, the exhaust gases slow down before exiting. I'm sure you know, this decreases HP. For a 300hp engine, a 4" stove pipe is too much.

Dude dude dude..
Lindsey Racing make kits specially for Porsches.
I understand your point about a too big exhaust, but this isn't right here.
Stop saying anything and just go read on the website ok.. thats start getting a waste of time right now and ridiculous.
Between you guys and Dave Lindsey and his mods and parts.. I think im gonna take Dave's knowledge.

FRZ, no offence, but I think you might want to take it down a notch.

Yes yes i know this but you can agree with me that first I made my excuse about that because I'm new here and I didn't know.
Second I hate when people make "junk" comments on a post. This post is not to talk about what people think about a 4" exhaust. I like even less when people try to make their smart guys and talk about not studied things. If they take 2 seconds to go read and learn about Lindsey Parts, espacially my kit, 90% of the comments here are.. just "junk" comments as I call them.
This is why I'm a LITTLE bit agressive, very not much because I think this more funny than frustrating, but on many forums, theres always some threads breakers.
Anyways, this is just internet.. my life still continue
Sorry for my english
