I've seen that online a few times. It's Village Auto in Ancaster - nice place, they always have lots of interesting cars, though usually way overpriced. He's negotiable, though, at least he was on something I was considering a couple years ago.
But the big thing, IMO, is the body kit - I can't stand early cars updated to look like later cars. It also raises concerns about what else a PO with such taste has done to the car.

I know the guy who purchased the car (already modded and with a candy apple red colour) and did some restoration work and repainted it. I advised him not to buy it to begin with (or at least to buy and sell for parts) as I agree with you both about conversion of late model car to "something" newer. Village Auto who originally sold him the car, took it back in trade for another car my friend purchased. The car is starting to bubble in some areas (because VA did not store it indoors), and some issues with electrical may have been worked out in the mean time. Engine is in good running condition. This is well overpriced for what it is, even for someone to buy on impulse, probably closer to 10K on a bright sunny saturday morning in early spring. If interested, PM me and I can put you in touch with Vince for more details

Not sounding to great, there is a 1980 wide body on autotrader as well. Doesn't look nearly as nice with a terrible whitle interior.

I love the statement "kilometers unknown". Kudos for being honest!
