Default Cdn Tire - Cheap Air tools.

You guys are going to start to think that I work at CT - I don't!

I just love 'window shopping' the flyers.

Anyways, CT has an air-tool set on sale this week... Mastercraft brand (3y parts warranty) for $89. Impact Wrench, ratchet, chisel, diegrinder....

I've had horrible luck with cheap impact wrenches, and now use an electric one. But the air ratchet would be handy, the diegrinder might be ok (I have a dremel like tool).

Already have a cheap PA air chisel

Hmmm.......

Why, what happens to them?

I bought a Campbell-Hausfeld 1/2" drive impact gun at CTC well over 25 years ago and still have it.

Mind you, it is only used to remove seized bolts on the daily driver. Personally, I do not use it to remove or install wheel bolts/nuts or install any other fasteners.

Not sure what happens to them.... says no serviceable parts in them.... My 1st one is about 10yrs old, replaced with one 8yrs ago.

I put oil in the screw port that says oil, I put a couple drops of oil in the air inlet.
I'd like to use it remove the lugs from our DD's for the fall/spring tire changes.

Both worked the 1st set of tire changes, and then 5-7 months later when i go to do the seasonal change, it no longer has the power to remove the lugs.

I've gone to the electric Cdn Tire MC impact gun for the past few years.... it's heavy, and large, but it works well. No waiting for the compressor to catch up. Plugs into standard extension chord.

What do you mean, "no waiting for the compressor to catch up"?

I use this 7.5 HP sucker to blow up my wheel barrow tires. Its just over 6 feet tall on its base.
