I'm also good to go whenever, unless it's more $$ than my quote from TR
shipped to Niagara Falls, NY.

Hey Al, I just dropped my TTs off in Whitby, Ryan was saying that you were really
pleased with the results? Can't wait to get mine back..stuck behind a HUGE pile of
rims in queue (waited wayyy too long..haha)

All you guys with new cars have it so easy.
I would kill for a set of 245/45-16 & 205/55-16.

There are no more RA-1's, and the R888 are no good for daily driving other than in the dry because of the tread depth and the very limited grooving.
About all it leaves are things like Nexen , made by some place in China, afaik, and I am in denial that I'll have to settle for that.
Already have too many wheels so a set of 17's or 18's isn't really what I want and besides a car the age of mine looks better on the 16" Fuchs.

So, if anyone runs across some old stock or other options, I'd love to know about it.

Ah, I see..haha. I could be the confused one. He said someone just picked up a set of Hollows; automatically thought it was you!

not sure if it's too late, but I'm looking for 2 tires:
255/35-18

Preferably:
R888
or
Advan Neova AD08
or
RE-11 (last choice)

Thank you!

Gentlemen, thank you for your patience. Please check your pms/e-mails.

If I missed you, I appologize, please contact me again.

If anyone else wants a copy of the full final quote with many sizes/brands already priced out, do not hesitate to drop me a pm. You can also contact Allen directly at allen@simplytire.com and mention Rennlist group buy.

If anyone is interested, overall Simply Tire's prices are in line with Tirerack's (some even less). You also get mounting, balancing, new valves, and installation included. All tires will be installed using the Hunter Beadless machine that is incapable of damaging rims, and EVERYBODY will get the Hunter Roadforce included. Lets not forget to mention how you will have warranty on all these tires because they are purchased in Canada.

Allen, thank you so much for trying your best for us.

Stan
Thanks so much for putting this together. As you predicted, Simply Tire prices are very competitive. It is unfortunate that I can't take advantage of their expert install and balance....next time I hope.
I'll be contacting Allen directly to confirm my order and arrange for pick up.
You are one fine Rennlister!
Regards
Ian

The difficulty we face in the GWN is there's not enough of us and we just don't have enough choices VS the USA folk. Shops here offer a half dozen vendors and in the US it's unlimited.

Stan, my thanks too for putting it together. I went in to see Allen on Sunday and to get the old tires peeled off so I can get the rims painted. Hopefully they will be ready by the time Allen has my tires in.

All
Based on my interactions with Allen this weekend, Simply Tire has gained a long term customer. Price is one thing but his assistance in solving a logistical issue for me went above and beyond the call.
Thanks again Stan

Can you please PM with some options/pricing for my car:

265/40/18
235/40/18

I'm thinking of Michelin Super Sport, PS2 but also open to suggestions.

I will not be tracking the car so I'm willing to sacrifice some performance for better wear.

thx

A few weeks back I bought Pilot Super Sports from Allen at SimplyTires and it came out really much cheaper than PS/2. I believe the Pilot Super Sports rated much higher than than the PS/2 for a Ultra High summer performance tires. Michelin might be running a sale on them right now.
