Default Replacing cab top

I have not had much luck with this query in the past but thought I would try again as my top has a few patches on it and it may be time just to replace it.

Jack at Gtek suggested New Image Interiors in Scarborough which is where he outsources it. Serge quoted me $1200 installed for the 2 piece top and $1400 for the 1 piece. The headliner would be an additional $400.

I have never heard of 1 vs 2 piece tops. Any comments on price etc? Anyone used New Image?

Thanks

I have used Serge for seats a few times and cannot say enough good things about himself, price and quality.

The previous owner of my Boxster had the soft top replaced by Innovative Auto Interiors in Scarborough (tel: 416-754-0061) and they did a wonderful job. No affiliation, but just in case you wanted to get an alternative quotation.
