Almost totally unrelated - but try pricing McDonalds anywhere near Walt Disney World, or Dennys anywhere near Niagara Falls. You would be thankful to give them the $0.08.

The Price difference most likely depends on if the franchise owner has to pay for extra maintainence and gas for their Corvette...lol!
Maybe we should create a central Toronto Artisano's Rennlist bi-weekly meet. The Etobicoke Saturday morning Drive Sucks!

Not going to happen...we have no problems with attendance and everyone of our regulars and semi regulars find it convenient.
Others have tried to set up alternate GTGs, but it's never taken hold. So good luck!

MEH! I don't come out very often, but I don't mind the drive (1hr) It is nice to get out for a drive. Its fully warmed up by the time I get there!
It was a bit of long drive when the shifter linkage let go at the GTG this past summer! (Managed to get it driveable enough to get it home with just one philips head screwdriver!!)

I never understood why people complain about the price of Starbucks. It cost about $1.90 for a brewed cup similar to the size of a Tims large... 40 cents difference at the most. The better is taste is well worth the extra cents. I drink both... prefer Starbucks. McDonalds makes a pretty good cup of brewed as well. Surprise!
Now if you want a girl drink with estrogen and whipped shopping on top at Starbucks, that will cost you... but have you tried that whipped coffee junk at Tim Hortons?? ugh... makes you a diabetic after one cup.
However, I am a self proclaimed coffee snob... my espresso machine and grinder cost more then a good set of tires and rims. After trying many, many, brands... I found Kicking Horse the most consistent with quality taste and a good value... meh...
