1999 Honda CR-V and just passed the 200,000 km mark this past Wednesday.

Bought it new. Its been trouble-free as well as rust-free thanks to Krown T-40, and in its 12th year, its still on the same battery.

I expect to get many more trouble-free years out of it.

Another incident this week further supported my theory... Saw an F150 run a red light after agressively swerving around traffic going down Birchmount.
Nope ... I'm the guy that drives in the slow lane, lets everyone in and generally behaves. I was a Defensive Driving Instructor as well as I drove vans and buckets trucks in the past. I know what it can do and it's limitations. I do get pissed off at ALPHA HOTELS and would dearly like to push them off the road. I get pissed when slow driver in snow storms drive down the middle of two lanes ... can't drive ... stay home. In 4 x4 this truck is very stable and sure footed. I take it onto deserted parking lots to see what it can do. I hate accidents and the hassels it brings. One thing I found was the Cops seem to think I am one of them ...

I use the truck and don't pose .. haul the boat and trailer as well as building materials ... I like the space inside as well as the cargo it can hold.

Now as to your statement above ... It seems to fit a lot of P-car drivers as well ... seen a few lately that I would love to push onto RR tracks with a fast moving freight train coming ...

Tis a great beast!!

In the summer on the highway I get close to 9 liters/100km driving at 100 km/h ...

Winter with stop & go 401 from Don Mills to Brampton and back daily commute 16 l/100km ...

My parents, years ago, bough a '91 Civic with 12K kms and when we were done with it (by the end all the kids drove it for several years) it had 600 000km. So you CRV is barely broken in.

P-car only gets driven in Summer - not because I'm a suck but Calgary doesn't plow the side streets!

My old pickup is still running strong after 11 years though!

No sweat ... it seems a lot of brands get A/H drivers ... it seems to be the BMW bunch I see lately ... Kids ..

I want to install train horns on the truck for when the next A/H pulls a stunt or dumb *** decides to text on the 401 in rush hour driving 20 km slower than the rest .... love to see that crackberry go flying out the window ...

Which engine did you order for the truck? 3.5 Ecoboost or a V8?

My DD/business vehicle is a Lincoln MKX.

1999 Infiniti G20t - 320,000
2002 Infiniti G20 - 248,000

Cars have been nothing shy of bulletproof, I think I've owned about 7 of these over the past 17 years and these i'll make sure last a few more years.

Ordered with the 3.5 ecoboost (twin turbo) which now comes with their max towing package and promises good fuel economy (when not towing). I'm quite interested in trying it out; Ford's videos are very convincing.
