You'll have a blast, learn a lot. Great people too. Just make sure your car is up to it.

They are an experienced group with good instructors. Will you be using your own car or theirs?

Great to get positive feedback, I'm looking forward to it. I'll be using my own car (still get excited knowing I own a 996) anything I should consider for getting my car prepped? 03 C2 67kms tires and brakes, and 48k service were done 12k ago. I have a small coolant leak, drips onto drivers exaust tip, Im guessing the tank, but will have it to EU for repairs. If timing and $$ work, Ill install H&R springs.

That's so true...only time I droped my road bike, was at a walking pace in a parking lot, rear hit coolant at the moment I released the clutch, it just droped from under me!! Man, that was in the late 80's why do I remember this stuff??

Be sure your brake fluid is no more than 12 months old. It degrades based on time not km driven.

If you are taking it in to Courtney, just let him know you'll be tracking it. He'll check your fluids/pads/tires etc. Other than that, get ready to drive one of the world's most challenging tracks, and be prepared for the addiction to set in quickly....

I was riding my chopper through the hip part of Winnipeg, (I know its hard to believe but there is one.....) and when I approached a headlight I came to realize that my pant leg was caught on the shifter. As it turns out I didn't find this until the weight was beyond the center of balance, on the trapped side. I did the very best to stop the bike from falling, but it slowly fell over, pinning my shoe to the ground under the footpeg.
So here I am, lying on the ground with a pretty cool bike on top of me, on the corner of Hot Chicks Rd & Car cruise Blvd, thinking WTF am I gonna do now........looking back now its the funniest thing, but at the time.....

Apex is a well run organization with a focus on safety. My advice is to park your ego at the entrance to the track, listen to Gerry Low's lecture intently at the beginning and have an instructor with you every session.
You'll be amazed with how difficult it is in the beginning and how much you'll learn in one day. Hopefully, you'll really enjoy the on track experience and meeting some great people off track.

Yeah, I just moved into a cardboard box so I can afford more track time....

It's a large box, though......

Drink lots of water and enjoy!

I don't know anything about Apex, but I can say you have a wonderful lady as your wife.

you may want to get a helmet if you don't already have one. with apex I think it is optional but I recommend it. you may also want to adjust your tire pressure, ask courtney what he thinks. you may also need long pants and long sleeves (can't remember what apex's rules are). thin shoes are also recommended. if sunny sunglasses help too. you may also want to biring a camera.
if you have time watch some in car video to aquaint yourself with the track...watch out for turn 2, it is a double apex! oh and arrive early and well rested...you also can bring your wife to watch and enjoy some free food.
