Hey Gang:
A few of us are going to car pool it Hershey this year (it's Easter weekend btw). Any advice on where to stay?
I'm happy to co-ordinate a convoy if anyone else is interested in joining.
Cheers,
Cliff

about 7.5 hours drive for me so add about an hour from TO . various hotels / motels in the area but a few get sold out early .
Many water cooled guys make the trip for fun . Stan went last year .. and made it part of a bigger trip and took his wife . For me it is more about the pilgrimage .. rumaging for rusty old parts, and getting filthy doing it .
if you guys go I will see you there .. as I aways do this " lone gunman" style .. never missed in many many years.
219 is very scenic and a beautiful drive down through elicotville ...
I always just go East on the 90 to the 390 to the 15 as it is usually at night after work and I just want to get there ..

This year Oksana isn't going, but I'd love to. Unfortunately, I cant take her truck, so I don't have the wheels to do it, unless I rent a van or something. Don't want to take the C4S a) to avoid raking up the miles (I am already at 38K), b) because its useless when it comes to fitting rims, exhaust, etc...(Sorry, Mark).
I would be up for splitting the cost of a large van between 3-4 people for a few days. The van can provide transportation and great cargo capacity. And we can take turns driving and sleeping to make the time go by faster. For those who are working Fridays (like me) but still want to go, I can even contemplate leaving at 10 pm Fri and arriving just in time for the Swap and driving back around 4-5pm Sat for midnight arrival back home. With 3-4 drivers its easily achievable AND you are home for the rest of Easter weekend. Drop me a pm if interested. If there's no takers, then I pass.

So - are we going? I'm barely back from Boston that weekend and wonder - is it better to fly to somewhere near Hershey and get someone to pick me up?
Let me know ASAP - I have to book flights!
