Why aren't you driving your cars this winter!?!
Okay, it's above zero, there is no snow in TO, no salt on the roads since the torrential rains of a few days ago and we had clear blue sky, yet I'm hardly seeing any p-cars out there! Crossed paths with exactly one 997 today and we both stared at each other as if we had both seen an alien apparition!
My car looks cleaner this week than it did all summer! C'mon guys, grab the keys and take your p-car out for a spin; she'll thank you for it. Besides, there will be plenty of time to think about storage when you're dead.
rant over.

Free Mazda's and Montreal. Nuff Said. T-3 Months to 996. A black 997TT did blow past my house though and another yellow 997TT was driving like a certified assclown in Whitby a few days ago.

Race Car
My car's stored in London at the dealership, which is in the midst of the snowbelt. There was precisely one day of clear driving - new year's day, and I was in no condition to be hooking up the battery and driving that day A fast freeze Sunday meant the brine trucks were out Sat. night/Sun. morning, so I missed the window. Salt/brine + pre-galvanized Porsche = rust bucket

Apparently, brine is way worse on our cars for rust ((ATA) Americian truckers association)... and you cant see the brine that is still on the highways.
Safe than sorry, for me.

i was out today .... took her to Toronto. Complained a little on starting but ran great after that ...
btw brine is more dangerous than salt .. brine is a liquid. it is basically water with salt disolved into it and is a huge electrolytic. If it is dry out there is no brine on the road, and as Phil said the roads were washed clean.
Was nice to be out today even if only for a couple of hours.

I drive it every chance I get. Those of you with newer cars: Get some winters on and enjoy your Porker. It not like it's gonna rust away. When was the last time you've actually seen a rust bucket on the road?! Cars don't rust like they used to. Don't take my word for it, ask any Rustcheck place.
