total weight savings for the poggipollini (sp?) titanium lugnuts is about 2 unsprung rotating pounds (total for all 4 wheels). At 1000$ I would do them dead last after having exhausted all other weight saving options. They do look great though.

not to get all serious but the lugs(assuming they are of the forged aluminum type) are like fuchs, they are anodized. Anodizing is lighter and more durable. Find a place to get them anodized, any color is possible.
Might be cheaper though to just buy new ones.

Actually i have heard guys with Titanium ones move out of racing alltogether and get into the stock market !!
