Expensive, but lighter and looks great.
I changed my lug nuts when I put in spacers, and the bag

Just a thought.
total weight savings for the poggipollini (sp?) titanium lugnuts is about 2 unsprung rotating pounds (total for all 4 wheels). At 1000$ I would do them dead last after having exhausted all other weight saving options. They do look great though.

not to get all serious but the lugs(assuming they are of the forged aluminum type) are like fuchs, they are anodized. Anodizing is lighter and more durable. Find a place to get them anodized, any color is possible.

Might be cheaper though to just buy new ones.

Life's no fun if you don't take care of your nuts.........

racers use steel lug nots...they are stronger than alloy even though they weigh more.

Actually i thought the weigtht of your nuts would make in incremental difference .. of course they have to be removed to be weighed ...

Seriously... stop staring at your nuts and just drive the car.

Is anodizing or any of the other suggestions not good?

Anyhow, it's gonna take me more than 1 hour now to stop thinking about
painted nuts.

Clive, I don't know about you, but I am trying to get them things out of
my head... not in.

You must admit though, that Zookie's plan is a good mod- fix the nut at the wheel
