Default Shipping advice for large item from Toronto to Edmonton?

Hi guys

I'm trying to get a 951 transmission shipped from TO to Edmonton.
I need a shipper that will pick up at the sellers house as he is
unable to move it. Does anyone know a carrier that will do this for
such a large item?

Thanks

Chrenan

Try Greyhound Express although they may have a weight limitation.

sameday.ca should beat most prices out there.

As far as I know Greyhound does not pick up or deliver - it is terminal to terminal service.

Sameday said they could do residential pickup, so once I get the final details sorted out with the seller, I'll get the quotes. I'll update the thread as things progress in case its of any value to other folks in the future.

Try International Logistics Solutions (no affiliation) @ 905-760-8444 for a quote. They handle all my long distance freight. I used to deal with Delmar, then Fedex, now only use these guys. Better price, much better service.
