this is thread can be closed down any time i dont care. what's sad is that once u buy a bmw, toyota , Porsche. your only accepted by that group. i guess my understanding is all wrong that its not the car that makes it special its what u want it to reflect or represent.

Wise choice. There's about a set of R-comps difference in price between a Silverado and a Sierra that you will be able to save for next season. 
I came across a deal I couldn't refuse so I went with the Sierra. Tons of fantastic deals out there on new trucks right now. Sometimes a crappy economy is a good thing.

I have a track day on Friday and it looks like rain, but the forecast is changing so it's nice to be able to bring a couple sets of tires with me in case it dries up.
