Well folks, I'm getting a Cayenne Turbo, so I definitely can't keep both my 911s now!

Someone is going to get one hell of an awesome light-weight high power SC.

1982 911 SC with 1996 3.6L Engine from a 993

I've ridden in this car around Mosport, and it definitely is the business! Heck of a nice guy, too.

Congrats on the near arrival of your baby.
The ad looks pretty good. You may want to take some better photos particularly of the interior and maybe add more detail what the 50 k went towards a little more.

Thanks Danny, and yes, I'll take better pictures tomorrow. I'll also create a Rennlist specific ad with the build sheet detailing the restoration.

Thanks for the kind words Charlie. That was a fun day at Mosport. BTW, Charlie was my video camera man in case anyone is interested in seeing some cool footage of Ruby in her element.

Is this the gorgeous 3.6 conversion I saw at the GTG a couple of months back? If so, what a fantastic car!

Do you know what it weighs now?

Yes, it is. Thank you! I think it weights close to 2450, but I've made some mods (glass bumper, removed spare tire, and I'm on a diet).

With 300 hp, the power, weight and suspension set-up has reached the perfect equilibrium.

LOL, Trust me Chris, I've labored over this decision greatly. It's a tough one, but the 993 is the way to go considering my situation.
