Default Feel dirty after DFC visit

is just me, or do others share the same feeling afterwards.

Car was in recently for minor work and I never get a good feeling afterwards. Is Pfaff any better?

Pfaff Rulz!

Picked up my car yesterday, 1.1 bar of boost consistent. i thought I had an issue with my intercoolers, not any more.

if you are going to Pfaff see Jimmy Vervitas in Service.

I have had zero problems with DFC personally. They have been easy to deal with and I have had no issues with the quality of work.

well Jason look at it this way, TurboS is a Pfaff Customer and Ronan is a DFC Customer... if you dint buy the car from the dealer, dont expect to be treated like you did...

but do wat TurboS said, Jimmy is a awesome guy.

I use DFC for OEM parts (my offices are across the street) - John there has been super helpful and fair on prices.

I would not take my cars there for service - I just have a sense they'd have little interest in working on the "vintage" cars. But I DO see some interesting older things in the service lot now and again - 928's - 993's, etc.

In my experience, Zookie's first statement is correct - if you bought your car from them, they treat you well. Everyone else, not so much. I've had major issues with Pfaff in the past and I'll never do business with them again. I haven't had much dealing with DFC, but when I needed some stuff for my boxster they were really helpful.

That said, if it's not warranty work, I don't know why anybody would pay dealer service prices, Porsche or anything else.

I did not buy my cars from DFC. Notwithstanding, I have recceived excellent service from Raj including an engine replacement on my sold C4S. I would not hesitate to take any car there for warranty work. However, I would not take a non warranty car to any dealer.

I have been getting royal treatment from Pfaff for the past 7 years, even though just the last car was bought there (Sept 09). I have never felt neglected there. Cant say the same about DFC. Every time I walk into DFC, I feel unwanted.

The sales end at Pfaff was great and I`d give them a shot if I was local but I haven`t had the chance.

In my experience, oil changes and such might not be for the faint of wallet at the dealer but other things are worth going there for if only for the `brownie`points.

I don't have a Porsche (yet) but one of my clients just joined Downtown Porsche as the Assistant Service Manager. His name is Greg and he's a stand up guy. Has a background with VW, Audi & Infiniti stores.

If you have any conerns, I'd voice them to him and I'm sure he'll sort it out.

actually turned out better than I initially thought. Just concerns me when they say "we can't find the problem" and then want to keep the car. They should be 100% confident they can fix/troubleshot something. My concern was a long song and dance before getting screwed, but it turned out OK

It's called "foreplay".
