Hey everyone,
I just wanted to let you all know that me and a few thousand other people are going to take part in the 200km bicycle ride from Toronto to Niagara Falls this weekend to help the fight against cancer. I've personally raised $3,000 for the cause and my company team should hit $80,000, which will be matched by my parent company.
I know there was a previous thread on cyclists and their poor road manners. For the record, I'll do my best to adhere to all road signs and traffic laws. I will also make sure to give a thumbs up to any P-cars I see along the way.
This is my first time participating in this event. I won't be be driving a German machine, but rather an Italian one. I hope Italian bikes are more reliable than Italian cars. So if you see me broken down on the side of the road and you have a bike rack or tow rope, I may need a hand getting to the next pit stop.
It's not to late to support the cause either. PM if you're interested in helping out.
It supposed to be 37 degrees C on Saturday with the humidity, so wish me luck!
Cheers,
Cliff
