Default Wind screen - worth buying?

Hi all,

My 1999 911 is on the truck heading from Florida to me in Toronto. The car doesn't have a wind screen deflector and I'm just wondering if buying and installing one is worth it outside of how good it looks. Do they really work in terms of reducing the air flow in the cockpit of the car?

Can't wait to get my car........

Dan

I was talking to Mike at the last meet and he swears by it. He has no hair (LOL) so I really don't know if I'd take his word for it but appearently his wife has some and she also swears by it.

WIth the windows up and the windscreen installed, I can barely feel any turbulance with the top down. Highly recommended.

I'd like to post pic's but it says I'm not a member yet. How does one get from a 'user' to member status?

I allways had it, and never tried without, but I love it it's very confortable top down and almost no wind in passenger face

It's worth it for highway cruising etc. Around town, it's not a big deal. I like the 'wind in my hair' drive....top down, windows down...enjoying the sun and fun.
