Talking Installing a Battery Charger /Maintainer

Since most of us store our Porsche for the long winter months & there is usualy a lack of space near or in the battery compartement I thougth I,ll go at it this way. At the exterior of the car----- this is for my 968 but could apply to any cars.When you need to start or move your car it take two minutes to disconnect .

Actually that looks like a pretty good idea. With having it up top there is less likely you will drag it down the driveway while backing out like i have done on a couple of occasions ..

There's actually 2 kinds of chargers that plug into your cigarette lighter, I bought the "drip" charger at local Porsche dealer ($85,-).

It really doesn't get any easier than that.

Overtime you may have some scratching in the hood as you pull the wires out;
how about putting a small micro fiber towel around the wires?
