Sales people at Downtown Porsche
Anyone know what happened to Neil Guerin down there? His name is off the website...
Any thoughts on Antje, Dan, Rob, Steve, Lee, John or Felix?
More curious than anything else.
Already know a guy up at Pfaff...
Thanks,
Retrofishy

I bought my car through Antje. She was fine through the process. Pleasant to deal with.
One snag was with my negotiated first service. When it came time to get it done they had no record of it. Partly my fault for not making sure it was documented on my invoice somewhere. In the end the new manager, Dan Maeda, made good on it.

Dealt with Antje at Downtown before but never bought a car. She as well seemed pretty straight as well after she figures out you're an educated buyer (not a lemming) ...

I don't own a Porsche yet, but Neil Guerin had been kind enough to spend some time chatting with me when I visited Downtown a year or two ago. He was very straight and I liked the fact that he didn't balk at my age.
Since then, John Hulley @ Pfaff has become a client of mine and while I have yet to buy a car from him, I can vouch for his character. When the time comes, he'll be the one I turn to.

Yeezh you guys are lucky!
In Montreal you'll be hard pressed to find a Porsche sales person who's anything like what you guys are describing.
Here they are arrogant, condescending and unreliable... a unique blend of excuses and attitude.
Now you guys don't know me but normally speaking I'm the last guy people want to f#@k with and someone who's clearly not going to be impressed by attitude, it has it's place and can even be "simpatico" (think Donald Trump) but it is the last thing you're looking for when you're about to drop a sh#t load of $$ !!!!
Therefore I'll only deal with the GM, the absolute opposite from his people!
Same sh#t at the service department...thank God that at least there the Manager and certain mechanics there are excellent!!
Like I said you guys are lucky.
Cheers,
Sid.

Bought from Jimmy Lin & Vincent Ho @ Downtown. Great guys to deal with but both have since moved to Pfaff. Can't comment on anyone else at Downtown, but I've had one dealing with service which was less than satisfactory.
