Default This cold weather and PSI!!!

So started my car this morning and the tire pressure indicated 26psi in the front and 31 in the back. At -15 (-24* wind chill), tire pressure varies, but if the cold weather continues, should I be increasing the resting psi?

Thoughts?

It wouldn't hurt to increase it, I know I do on all my cars. They say it reduces flat spotting of the tires.

Yes, alwaya keep the tires at optimal pressure. When gets warm, just let some of it.

Aluminium rims tend leak more during a cold snap.

Yes. You must adjust your tire pressure to compensate for changes in
ambient temps.

sympathize with you guys re ill weather. best friend lives in newmarket so i receive regular rants.

here - opposite problem. no snow on local mountains for some of the events. on cypress mtn. as we speak there are 2 helicopters, mining dump trucks, snow ploughs bringing snow down from high elevations. their plan is to use tons/tons of straw as a formed base with an overcoat of snow (will not discuss extent of any overrun or total budget until games are over, but have to believe taxpayers will be paying for the games a lot for a longtime).

i love it! not a day goes buy if its not raining that you do not see verts top down.

snapped this few minutes ago from front window - if you look to left side of the frame, check the local mountain to the right of the building with the blue (we support.....) sign. that's about the height of cypress and if it was not so gray/hazy you would see that its green/green/green.
the mountain on the other side of the that building is grouse, its higher and has some remnants of snow.

and look what my wife & i came upon on our walk to the market

yes you do, easiest method i've found is tire gauge and bicycle pump-takes but a few minutes
