Talking On the road again!

Folks .... finally got the 2002 Boxster S on the road last night. We had issues getting the exhaust system from the States via Useless Parcel Service. I took it out for a cruise last night and man does it feel good. This car is nice and tight and feels like a 2 year old car VS a 7 year old. I had the motor rebuilt so I have to take it easy for the next 1,500 km and try and keep it under 5,500 RPM.

Car takes off smoothly with very little pedal effort and gets up to speed quickly ... am impressed. It is definatly different than my old 951, but I expected it to be. It does need a good cleaning which will be done over the next few days. I have taken a few shots with the crackberry and will post better ones over the weekend.

I rebuilt it through Marios shop. I also had to replace the exhaust system as it was drenched in oil; O2 sensors as well. Problem was getting Useless Parcel Service to deliver part of it. That took close to three weeks.

Just waiting for the rims to be delivered (they come with 18 inch dunlop sport tires) which are almost new! Should be delivered next week ...
