I could only stay till 11 and the track didn't dry until close to 10, so it was a short but sweet day. About 15 degrees, so not bad, and a new personal best, 1:56.47:

I have to try to find my laptimes from early this season, but I believe they were around 2:01, 2:02, with the odd one at 2:00. So I've shaved off a good 4 seconds throughout the season. I'm pretty happy with that. When I was driving my dad's 996TT I started at about 1:55s, and got them down to around 1:42 before I went back to my car.

I pulled a few lap times from the tape, and if I'm anything, it's consistent:

1:56.74
1:56.47
1:57.73
1:57.07
1:57.00
1:58.08

(This doesn't include warmup laps, or laps where I had to let a few people by. If it's the back straight, I don't have to let up on the throttle unless it's a 944NA, but on the front I do slow down to let people pass.)

I've got video of a few laps behind James which is just uploading now. As we exited turn 3 and drove up the hill, our engines would be at almost exactly the same pitch - it sounded so cool! It's fun to watch him just walk away from me on the straight

No, no car off. Do you mean the dark spot over at the right? I think that's just shadow, maybe combination of shadow and puddle. The video really is over compressed, isn't it? Oops.

Sweet video, and thank you for letting me tail you around the parade laps. I really didn't know my way around at all!

Here's one of mine, which I've also posted elsewhere. I'm very new to this, but I've been reading that there's a different way through 8/9/10 which I saw Webbie use in his white Cayman S. Next time I'm there, I'll try it, too.
