After a few months of seaching for my first 993, I have taken the plunge and bought this '96 C2. I'll post more details later after I get the car up here, but for now: it's a one female owner (67 years old) '96 C2 in Arena Red with Black supple leather, just turned 11,000 miles, never in rain or snow, no one has sat in the passenger seat and nothing has ever been in the trunk! It is well optioned with a sticker or over $76K. This woman absolutely loved this car and was only selling because of recent shoulder surgery. It shared its storage space with a number of notable stablemates including a Ferrari, Lamborghini and Rolls Royce!!!

check the build date, once it is 15 years old you can put hobby insurance on it for a few hundred dollars a year (silver wheels plan).

Thanks guys! For now I just want a mint set of Twists and then do a super detail job. If I like this car, then a 993TT will be in my future. TD, I have no idea why that lighter looks like that. The owner swears it is the one that came in the car when new and that it has never been used????????
