As an update, I am getting a PPI from G-Tek tomorrow morning. Autowerks is fully booked tomorrow.

GL with the PPI. Make sure you stick around and watch it being done. There is a lot to learn.

"Lady driven" is the oldest used car saleman BS. I wouldn't trust a Kijiji or Craigslist add very much either.

What about a Rennlister's car?

So after 1.5 hrs at G-Tek, the PPI result came out...

- a small dent on the driver's door (I didn't even notice, but now I do !)
- front and rear bumpers have both been repainted - but no sign of any accident damages
- alignment required as rear tires (at 19k km) are completely worn on the inside
- a few more minor scratches here and there

That was it. But because the rear tires are shot, the car won't pass safety. So we have to wait till the rear tires are replaced and the alignment done before the deal can be closed. The guy at G-Tek says the car was very clean, no mechanical issues that they can find.

BTW, does PPI usually cover interior stuff as well? Like stereo, nav, things like that? Or is it purely exterior and mechanical?
