very true...I was pulled over once and told to go home and take it off immediately (I didn't). But, once when I was pulled over for 'cleanin out the pipes' in north Halton, the cop was gracious enough for give me a plate infraction instead of a moving voilation ticket (same dollar figure but no points).

Sorry didn't mean to hi-jack your thread....great car....enjoy.

Very nice and what great shape! Always happy to have another 944 in the group. I think it is about time we all show up to a Saturday GTG the same week and line them up.

Good luck! I have a copy on CD of the 944 series workshop manual if you need a copy.

My 86 951 is being picked up by the new owners this Friday, so I will be leaving the 944 group.

A copy of that CD would be very helpful, thank you.

That is very low mileage and the condition reflects it. Great find!

Plus, it has sport seats!

Very reliable and well-built cars. Of course, age will mean certain things will have to be maintained/replaced, but it looks like you have a very solid car. The only thing to really watch for is the timing belt, but if you have been hanging out on the 944 forum, I'm sure you heard that already.
