Can you buy a bleeder in the GTA?
The blue has gone up a little, but I still get it for 1/2 of that price.

You can get one from a Montreal reseller (Perry Auto in Laval)

Bringing up an old thread.... but has anyone bought the Power Bleeder directly from Motive?

What I want costs $98US from Motive, but $135 from Wheelwax.ca That's a bit steep.

Looking for universal adapter (Honda CRV) and the European Black Label adapter - (Boxster and Jetta)

Something to add to the thread... After trying all the fancy fluid, I buy the Cdn Tire labled for FORD vehicles. Very cheap, relatively high boiling point... cheap enough that you can flush it many times a year. Used on a well prepped 951 and a 924S race car... no fluid issues at all.

The other alternative, and what I will do in the future... Use Castrol SRF and flush once a year. Expensive, but you only ever need to flush once! If you boil SRF, have your head checked.

I just got mine a few weeks ago from Pelican - 67.95 us, and the ATE blue brake fluid was 14.25.

Back to square 1.

I had ordered the Black Label bleeder for pelican to coincide with my wife's return trip from Florida thru Niagara Falls.

I swear the website says ships today.... I order it yesterday, fax over a copy of wife's credit card..... now it's supposedly 5 days to receive..... Won't make it in time for when her flight lands at NF.

Sucks. I even registered her at the US Address Inc, suggested in the Buffalo Shipping thread.

My Motive Bleeder (with the metal swivel adapter) arrived from 'bimmerzone' on Ebay. Bought it for about $65US and $25 USPS shipping.

Picked it up at the post office yesterday, and pleasantly, no HST or duty was applied.

I was going to order it from wheelwax, and talked to the owner. However he didn't come up with a good reason that his product was $95 (almost 50% more than from US vendors). I can't see his distribution costs being that much higher than a US vendor. His shipping from vaughan to me was about $25, plus HST. ($135 to my door)

I figured I was going to save 20% buying from ebay. ended up saving 33%.

Going to bleed the jetta this weekend, when I change the snowtires, and maybe the Porsche if that goes well. Save me cleaning the bleeder between cars.
