I just tripped mine after leaving the light on and draining the battery... I guess I will find out how much Toronto area dealers charge to reset the light. Maybe I will call gtek as well.

UPDATE:

Pfaff Porsche charges $67.00 (includes a wash), Downtown Porsche charges $62.50 and G-Tek (where I took the car for PPI) charges $52.50 (all plus taxes). Both Porsche dealers sounded like they know what they are dealing with - claimed this is common because a drained battery will put a low voltage fault in the system and the car does not have the capability to reset because it's a safety system. G-tek claimed that something else may be an issue but will charge $52.50 to do a scan and see, if nothing else is wrong, they will reset the light.

Anyone has a cheaper alternative before I head over to G-tek?

i always opt for buying tools over paying for service ... a couple of battery drains and you are there .. and you can loan it to your friends ....

Hmmm... $287 USD plus $36 USD shipping, plus duties and taxes. Hopefully, I have learned my lesson and stop being such a lazy as* and plug in my Porsche/Ctek battery maintainer. Beside, the software only allows 3 VINs and I can't really decide who are my two other p-car friends . Now if two other people who live close by where I live wants to get together with me and purchase one, maybe that's worthwhile.
