Sorry I missed this one. It looks like I might have got at least one vote thanks to Clive. I have been vacationing/training in Italy and just got back but with a fractured collar bone from a cycling accident. I don't yet have the best use of my left arm for driving my 993 :-( ... but I am hoping to be able to do so and hook up with you guys at the GTG this weekend. I agree with Phil that the Panamera looks sweet.
Holy Crap you and that Mat Lauer guy ...did you hit a deer too ?
That was just the strangest Porsche event I have EVER been to ..
No Panamaera ...... Panamera
No Rain ..... Rain .. then No rain again
Golf .. then no Golf ...
More organizers than participants ..
Had a great day with the gang though all in all ...
And Al sure does look good on the course with that fancy equipment ..

Have to agree with you Iceman. When I first got there and saw all of those Asian girls in the long dresses and tiaras I thought that they had double booked a Chinese wedding and the car show on the same day! It was definitely different than the shows that I attended at Appleby College in Oakville...
That does sound like a pretty different Porsche event. A Chinese wedding? ... too funny. As for the accident... no I didn't hit a deer although I think that would have been better. I just hit the pavement really hard. (Sometimes four wheels are better than two.)
here are a couple.
I must say that although different from what some people expected, the organizing team were very professional, extremely nice and did a great job. remember: variety is the spice of life.
Dan...what the heck? I didn't see those chicks wanting to pose with my car. They must have something for the "Gwie Low"

Clive maybe one day we can finish off the round with Danny and if we are lucky, he'll bring more than two clubs this time. If we really want to have fun we can drag Phil along kicking and screaming about how his hood is open and rain......lalalala. I don't remember any rain... lol!

A strange outing to consider for my virgin entry into the foray of car shows also known as "Concourse". As always the fellow Porschephiles make it a worthwhile and memorable occassion. Thanks Iceman for whipping out the big towel and making the rest of us feel inadequate.
"Introducing the winner of the Porsch nine one one class" should have been an indicator...
Will eventually figure out a way to send a few 2.2 MB pictures through this forum (would appreciate any help from those versed in this high tech wizardry)

I'm glad I'm not the only one that thought the same. This was my first concours event so I thought this was normal.
Clive,
When it started to really rain, I closed you trunk. I hope that's ok. I didn't know anyone else there that was away from their cars, so I opted not to touch anyone else's.
Hey my car made the Porsche UCR web site . ... okay well it is just a little brown spec in the background of the Panamera ...... but still ...... and I made Ekams picture spread too .... great pics BTW....
