There's a lawyer in Mississauga that was able to get it licenced for the road. First road legal one in Canada IIRC. Don't know how exactly, but he was able to. I bet that's his.

Apparently the loophole he exploited was bringing the car up in pieces as (I think) replacement parts for a kit car. I know he brought it in as pieces though. His had the CarbonFibre kit, I didn't see this one up close.

That would be me in a 2007 Z06 Mosport1,,, you almost killed some people passing into oncoming traffic,,, there were a hundred cars in front and this was no race.
What is there to prove by passing anyone in that situation?,,,NONE...
There were several cars from this forum driving like idiots.
The police were already following us in a blacked out Yukon.

Events like these are put on by people who put a lot of time and effort into them. Why should a small few ruin it for everyone.
As said in the drivers meeting this in NOT A RACE.
It's the small percentage of guys like you that create the headlines and make
all of us look bad.
Events like these are in the public eye and we don't need any bad PR.
I particpate in many similar events and driving like that is not tollerated in any way.
You want to go fast come out to Mosport this week,, I'll be there Monday and Friday,,,,

I enjoyed the drive, notwithstanding those few limited moments of unnecessary drama. The turnout was really impressive. The guy I met last Friday who brought his Ariel Atom had a great time too. That car is unreal.

A good friend of mine drove my 997C2S. It was his first time driving a 911, and he's still grinning from ear to ear.

We couldn't have asked for better weather.

He told me there's 1 other in Ontario that's plated (and it's in London). He told me a bit about the process, and it was by no means simple or easy.

It's an incredible car, and very unique. When we drove to the meet on Saturday morning, we were stuck in traffic on the 401. They took off their helmets but when we started up again, the freshly paved lanes were the source of all kinds of pebbles. They were getting blasted, so they had to pull over.

But I say that's a small price to pay for getting do drive/ride in that!

It was a great turnout, TONS of awesome cars, and yeah that Ariel must be a blast to drive, especially around a track! the guy said it weighed only 500 kgs, excellent power to weight ratio!
