Default Bear tracker

Are bear trackers or laser jammers illegal in Ontario? I know radar detectors are illegal(used one for years),and are not altogether invisible to VG2 unless shut off quickly, but is there an Ontario statute in the HTA which prohibits laser jamming or alternativly pick up the use of Police radio(they always have them on) within a 2k radius(BEAR TRACKER).

On long car-cruises (read: between cities) i always keep a uniden scanner with Trunktracker V and programmed banks by area and dispatch type.

There's nothing more amusing than hearing dispatch pull you over on the radio lol

As for laser jamming, I think lasers are actually regulated by the FCC instead of HTA or something like that, and slip by....though you might still get the ticket for it non-the-less. If you jam-to-gun and then turn it off one you've slowed down and allow him to get a reading, he might not bother pulling you over.

It's honestly just easier to be vigilant and train yourself to look out and ahead and keep a scanner with you than it is to bother with all the jammers and detectors.
