Default PSE mod for 996 exhaust cans

Hi there, was wondering if anyone knows of a place/individual in the Toronto area that would do the exhaust hack for a decent price, I know pfaff motorsport does it but it cost a lot of money. Thanks in advance guys

Try Hot Rod Scott's on Kipling Ave. in Etobicoke. They do a lot of custom exhaust work and this is a simple bypass operation.

I picked up the material at Hot Rod Scotts.
He is aware of how much Phaff and Auto Werks charges, but I'm sure he will be more resonable.
You should also checkout Zorro's in Mississauga he was looking for $350 for the bypass.

Default Love some info as well

Hi guys,

Going to look into those options as well. This is one of the first mods I am looking at doing.

My main concern is getting a chance to listen to the various exhaust live before making a decision. Worried some may be too loud, droning etc.

The modded cans do come up on e-bay or 6-speed from time to time, so check there.

Or another option, although admittedly more expensive, is to buy a pair of modded cans from FisterD in the States - he does these for 993, 996 mk1 and mk11. He charges $495 US plus shipping ($100). It's more expensive but you do get to keep your non-modded cans should you wish to revert back at some point.

I wanted to keep my original mufflers for that reason so I ordered a set from FisterD (did a nice clean job) earlier this year and had Courtney (Autowerks) install them when the p was in for its yearly service in May ... very happy with new "choir".

If you come out to the GTG, I have the factory PSE on mine and you can have a listen to compare with the modded cans.

I have read up on FisterD posts as well and everyone seems to be very happy..would love to hear these live as well.

Thanks again!

If it doesn't rain again (don't want the Targa to catch a cold!), I'll be at the GTG this Saturday, the 27th. Phil is a regular so I'm sure he will be there. Mind you Zookie will come along with his tubis and blow us both out of the water
