Any Boxster owners here? Looking for advice to mount a STi in a boxster. In my other vehicles, I've had good luck mounting it on the Sun visor on the driver's side, I have a 4"tinted sun strip hiding it from view from the front, and it is not very noticeable from the rear. It's hardwired to the fuse box, so no wires show.

I don't want to use the visor for mounting in the boxster, as I think it will be too visible with the top down.

On my wife's vehicle (Honda CRV), it is velcroed to the corner of the dash, right by the Driver's side pillar, so it's not clearly visible to other vehicles. The drawback there is that area of the vehicle doesn't get much circulation, and being in the sun, it runs pretty hot.

Picking up my 2001 Boxster S in Chicago tomorrow.... excited and nervous. Hope everything goes well.
