Zeeman- in the after picture, the rim is scratched all over!
If they did that to my wheels I would freak!
They were scratched up beforehand. I didn't want to pay the extra $200 to get my wheel refinished. They just fixed up that ding, cleaned up the rim and added some clearcoat to it. I was selling the car and wanted to fix the damage. I thought about getting all my wheels refinished as they were all scratched up like that but at roughly $800 for the set of 4 plus the $200 repair, I didn't bother. That money would have been better spent on new wheels, which, if I had kept the car, I was planning on doing.
I just wanted to show the before and after of the damage.
it was so expensive to redo zooks wheels it put him out of business... now Zook is gonna have the same wheels two years in a row ..... nooooooo!!!!
lol
okay update, my friend just picked up his bike wheels from them... He said Collision Networks moved/merged in with Bestline Auto, which is apprently close by
I had my Champion rims refinished and powder-coated by Joel at Alloy Wheel Repair. One rim had bad curb rash and the repair job was excellent. I had the rims and spacers powdercoated gloss black from satin silver and they look amazing. The cost was 200$/wheel (ie. total 800$ for everything). They're based in Tottenham but will pickup & deliver in Toronto. 416-888-7467.
