Flat Tire - Tire Shop
Please recommend a good tire shop (with location) for repairing a flat tire in Markham area. Flat tire is on a 19 inch wheel. How much should the repair cost? Thank you.

Superior Tire on Laidlaw or Active Green and Ross on Hwy#7 just west of Markham Rd. ~$30 (taxes-in), they mark the tire on the wheel before removing it, then apply a patch from the inside of the tire.

In Markham, Steelcase wheel's and mags (near Woodbine & Steeles). Haven't taken my p-car there, but my honda's/acura's have gone there. Not sure how much they charge for a plug. Give them a call, they can probably give you a quote over the phone.

I originally asked this question. After visiting several shops, I got it fixed from Autowerks. Others were charging too much and pretending that they were doing a favour for me by fixing 19" tire. I highly recommend Autowerks.
Edit: Autowerks is NOT in Markham by the way. Try Mark Lue's suggestion if it needs to be done in Markham.

Thanks to all. I tried calling Simply Tire and got no answer, I also remember I emailed them before when I was looking for snow tires and also received no response. My luck I suppose. They would have been closer to me.
I end up calling Steelcase and they answered the phone. I was given two options: $20 plug from outside, or $30 plug from inside. They told me there is no difference as long as I don't track the car. Well since I was there, I figure I will get it fixed properly and paid them $30 to have the tire plug from the inside. It took about 40 mins as there were quite a number of people waiting to get their winter setup swapped. Good thing my tire/wheel was off the car so I didn't have to line up for too long.

If you can see the nail and it's a slow leak, get the tire repair kit from Canadian Tire. $12, last time I bought one. Takes about 10 min, easy DIY. I have a bad habit of sweeping out the garage into the driveway, screws, nails and all, and I've repaired a slow leak from punctures on 2 of our cars. Both repairs were perfect the first time and lasted years with no recurrence of the leak. The only case where I wouldn't do this would be track tires that are subjected to significantly more heat and wear.

I agree w christien. I've done the sticky pipe cleaner plug kit on a bunch of tires. Ok well maybe 5 times total. My wife is currently the screw magnet. I've got 2 plugs in one tire. I put on her summer all-seasons and had a screw in it within 24hrs
I believe some places have tire plugging as a free service when u buy the tires, however this might not be the case in the gta where u seem to have cheaper tire prices than us in KW.
For me it takes seriously less than ten minutes at home to fix it. Front tires are even less than 5 minutes as i've done them with the wheel still on the car. Just roll the tire so that the offending screw is at the 9 or 3 o'clock position and the turn the wheel out to full lock. The kit usually contains enough plugs to do 5 repairs.
