This kind of supports my point , a few d!ckheads being just that , and makes the whole truck community look bad... but im sure those good old boys dont give a crap.

i have a guy who has a giant silverado on our street and floors it from the corner to his house every day ( about 300 yards ) ... he has young kids too and you would think he would slow down knowing young kids play and could dart out at any time...

his response ? your kids are not my problem .... all righty then...

Given a choice I would drive. I absolutely hate flying. My wife hates boats - I'd love to spend my life sailing the 7 seas in a beneteau 36cc or equivalent but no likely to happen this lifetime

yes and all lambo drivers rev their cars 90% of the time, all ‘vette owners are white haired 65 year olds and all Ferrari owners don’t drive their Ferraris. All true.

Don't buy fully electric if you plan on doing pick up truck stuff.

Yep, had a quick look at the Lightening. No go, not enough payload or tongue weight capacity. Plus charging points for our purpose is not going to work. Looking at F150/1500 series. payload and tongue capacity issues. Not looking to overload by hundreds of pounds. Safe is the preference.

Bought a 2024 Sierra HD Denali. It's for towing. No worries, can do it carefree, gobs of payload and extra tongue capacity.

Nice choice! I know a couple people with Sierras and they all have good things to say about them. Our whole fleet is Ford so I can't stray lol

It's a great truck when compared to a new F150 Platinum or Ram 1500 Limited. F250 weren't available on the lot. I set out for a Ford. F150 though recently refreshed is showing it's interior age when compared to the new Sierras. I'm comparing at higher end trim levels of course.

Sierra - Interior redesign for 2024, looks great. Definitely not as cushy as a Sierra 1500 Denali but needed the 2500HD and frankly not bad to drive around when not towing. Haven't towed yet, soon. Parking habits change for sure But more exercise!
