Guys, just wondering, are you aware that there is a Rennsport Forum here, it is a subforum of this one. Lots of locals (Montreal, Ottawa, Quebec City) there. Not just for Rennsport members but judging by some of the avatars, one or more of you are members.
Note all of the shops listed in this thread are competent and approved RSR tech centers as well.
Best,

I can vouch for Mike at Rombotistuning, competent and honest, reasonably priced.
A less known one is Arnold at PortPlus (785 Halpern, Dorval), he's a German guy who used to work for the Porsche factory back in the 60-70s before he came over. He knows the 928 series by heart. He's a character though.
Ron Green has been a champion of 944s for a long time, he's pricey but he knows what he's doing. Does he still race?
Carlos sport is also a good place, another 944 specialist.
Lots of competent and passionate Porsche mechanics in town. If you own a recent Porsche though, dealers are probably the better places as their technicians are well trained to work on current models. For any car 1998 and older, I think the garages mentioned in this thread are far better.
Regards,
Chris

I grew up on Melrose Ave in NDG, there is a Porsche garage called Campbell's at the bottom of the street. Their parking lot is probably the reason I fell in love in 911s at such a young age.

I can recommend We Tune. But the other garages listed are good, too.
Call them and talk about what you want to do to the car. Do you want to just maintain it or do you want to change something? What do you use it for, etc. Each garage has different strengths and you need to find the right match for you.

I work on anything that is not Italian
And thanks for the kind words, Porsches' are my passion, but I repair almost anything that needs to be fixed to put fuel in the GT3
The 944, especially the turbo is, at todays prices, the best bang for the buck on the planet. Also remember that some of the others mentioned on this thread, I've taught them all they know about 944's but not necessarily everything I know
Go in peace, walk softly and carry a big stick.
