Engine drop Sunday
You can hold, um, more beer. Or you can be in charge of the grill for lunch. It may cost me my "man card" to admit it, but I'm the absolute worst barbecue-er in the world. I overcook everything.
No tools needed. Jim's bringing the mondo jack and jackstands (looks like I'll have to wait for Princess Auto to get in more of the big ones - I tried Costco today and they didn't have any either) and I've got everything else. Unless you happen to have a tall ATV jack.
I'll pm you directions.

Cliff, Jim and Mark, thanks so much for coming to help guys - it made the job a million times easier (and safer!)
James, Robinson and Adam we missed you, too bad you couldn't make it! James, because of you I burnt the living snot of out of our bbq lunch!
In looking over all the stuff on the garage floor, I think this might be actually a bit less work than I anticipated. If this week weren't crazy busy Wed-Fri I might have been able to finish it up this weekend. Maybe next weekend.

Christien, thanks for the demo and for being a very gracious host. You're are a better "wrench" than you give your self credit for,... the burger wasn't bad either.
With any luck, it'll be going back in this weekend. I cracked open the tranny yesterday afternoon and this morning. I managed to do the 36mm nut myself, without heat or an old clutch disk - if any of you know what I'm talking about, you'll appreciate the gravity of that! I cleaned off most of the old gasket material, so next time I'm out there I'll get the tranny resealed, then it's time to move on to swapping the bits over.
I'll keep you guys posted.
