I don;t think you need to replace the heat shields, just remove them.

The one's that go over the turbocharger hotsides?(they are critical) ...About $80 each new at dealer

Yes i should have been more clear and said the Hotsides... i had contacted a dismantler which wanted ~120 each, thinking the dealer would be even more, but i'm finding dismantlers are priced higher than dealer! I don't want to remove them permanently, so i will attempt a repair (just need to build new attachment points) before contacting the dealer.

Looking for stiffer trans mounts for 996 GT3

If anyone has a trans mount with upgraded, stiffer bushings, I'm looking to replace mine. Also open to purchasing inserts/replacement bushings on their own.

Willing to arrange a trade for my OEM mount if someone has stiffer mounts and is looking to go softer.
