Default First video with new camera

I just tried out my new Motorsports Hero Wide 5MP video camera. It mounted nicely in various locations on my C2S Cab. I tried it briefly this morning on my way to the rink.

My initial reaction to it is positive. It's pretty easy to use, and the only thing I'm not 100% impressed with is the audio quality. There are 2 settings LOW/HIGH. It is recommended you use LOW when mounted on a car due to vibrations. I couldn't hear the engine very well in this setting, but there was no annoying wind noise either. I tried it later in HIGH mode, and the engine was clearer, but there was alot of wind noise and pops. I want to see if it's possible to use an external mic.

As you can see later in the video, using it while it's snowing, and positioning the camera behind the front wheel can lead to some snow buildup.

I can't wait to try it on the track.

Haha, nice. I wanted to stick my camera in the rear when I was power sliding around in the slow like a retard but my cheap camera mount could not stick in the cold, the rubber suction mount was just solid.

Will definitely heed your recommendation of no sticking it behind the front tires.
