Justin - you ever sort out wheels and tires?

Also - I have to confess to being an Audi guy too. Just got a B6 and loving it.

I DO miss some of the E90 330xi features - but not the payments. : )

When's the Rennlist Audi A4 GTG? Should be in a snowy parking lot some day so we can play in the snow.

RK

PS. Reminder - Tall Pines Rally in two weeks!

No, not yet. Still trying to get some. Actually, as mentioned in an earlier post, there is a set for sale but the guy for some reason is not getting my e-mails. He lowered the price after I sent him the first e-mail so he must have typed in his address wrong. So I just posted an ad looking for him on Craigslist in the hopes that he sees it and calls me...lol. Let's see if this works.

Good luck
Thanks for the tip. I found the thread and left a message but the guy just let everyone know that he decided not to buy the car off the insurance company. Oh well, back to square one.

I got my winter tires finally. I found the ad in Craigslist. Turns out the guy is a new mechanic at DFC and is also a Porsche guy with a 928 that he tracks. He recently moved here from Ottawa where I used to live and was a mechanic at a place called Robson Racing which is where I used to get my Mazda 323 GT serviced. He is also and RX-7 guy like myself, so we had a great conversation. Pleasant experience all around.

Thanks for all the help and advice guys!

No, the set I picked up was in Oakville and they are in perfect shape.Turns out the guy has a brand new Caymen S. I guess we all like similar cars...

It's funny that you guys say that because over on the audiworld.ca forum, they actually have Audi get togethers what seems to be all the time. As an Audi owner for the lat 8 years, I have absolutely zero interest in taking my Adui to a group meet and spending hours talking about Audi's. Don't get me wrong, I think it's a great car, but aside from maybe the S or RS series or an R8, there is nothing overly exciting about these cars.

Honestly, if they made a plow hook-up for my Audi, I'd have a second job on snowy weekends.

I've tried everything to get it stuck - took off the undercarriage as a result, but man-oh-man does it ever hook up in the deep snow.

That it does. I just put on my snows and this will be the first time driving that car with them, and I was impressed with all seasons on a quattro. I suspect i will be totally blown away this year.
