Folks ... Canadian Tire has a sale on AC recharge kits! For those of you who are not as "cool" as you would like to be, here is a do-it-yourself product that will get you there. It's under $60 ..... on page 15 of the weekly flyer.

That's a great price for the Red Tek kit!
Having said that and since my last posting about AC kits,
I have found that you can actually find the actual R134a recharge kits in Canada. Months ago a trucker had mentioned to me that the Husky Service Centers along the 401 carry the R134a recharge kits. I confirmed this a few week ends ago when I stopped into the Husky Service center near London (Hwy 401 East bound near where the Hwy402 ends). I'm not sure how they bring it into Canada but they do, they actually had alot of neet repair stuff that I only see at the truck stops in the states.

Stay away from the blended refregerants. Either get 134A with a refill hose from the states or don't do anyting. The way the blended gas leaks out will most certainly sooner or later destroy your AC system.
