Nice! What can I say, all of the pics are great. Has anyone else asked you about your Ontario plates?

Great seeing you again Ronan. I'm going into detox this week...

Thanks a million for letting me take the car for a lap! What a machine!

As the week went on, I got more familiar with the track again. Markus Gedllich, who had spent a few hours with me on Monday on the track, had installed GPS based logging on the car, and had put down a reference lap to work against. By thew end of the first day, I ad managed to go to a Bridge to Gantry time of about 9:17, not fast, but a minute and a a half quicker than when I started the day. By the end of the week I would manage 8:30. Both Ed and Markus noticed that I was definitely taking the corners far too early and getting the right line became the focus for the week. The car is radically different from the M6 and way faster in track conditions. Handling on the Ring was almost Go Kart like in comparison. The GT3 is a vry common sight at the Ring and is the favoured track toy, followed by the BMW M3 ,Lotus Elise, and a variety of hot hatches.

You will note the lack of runoff areas. Markus pointed out one turn where five GT3s had been rolled. You need to know your limits there and I was not trying to find the limits of the car, which are different than my limits as a driver. Markus took the car out at full race speed. I discovered bumps on the track that I ad of previously experience and the compression on the jumps was extreme. We got round in a BTG time of 7:30 or so.

Gas was not cheap..( you can add a 1 before theses prices). A fill up was about $150.
