The Malahat Pass separates Hwy 1 from Victoria BC to the rest of the island and its interesting. I was more than a bit late catching a whalewatching tour so had to push the rental Mustang pretty hard through the twists and thought how the experience might be like in the 944. I anyone has the chance try this road. You can't miss it as I think its the only way up island. BTW someone forgot to tell the whales we were coming.
