...in her 99 boxster at a gas station. She's on her way to Halifax and stopped for gas, no start. The car has full power, lights, etc. but no click at all from the starter. The clutch pedal is clicking so it's not that. I suspect a faulty ignition switch - after doing some searching on pelican and rennlist it seems it's a common problem with early boxsters.

Anyway, if there's anyone in Cornwall who might be able to help with a push start or anything, could you please give me a call? Once it's started I've advised she stop in Montreal for the night to get it serviced in the morning.

Ok, never mind, we got it going. Bump starting saved the day. Sounds like a faulty ignition switch for sure.

Yeah, they actually picked it up quite a few years ago, maybe 2001 or 2002, as a lease takeover. It pissed me off at the time, because I was still in school (a few years before I bought my 911). I've loved Porsches since I was a little kid, and one day they just up and decide to buy one, on a whim.
