Default New Pfaff dealership - London area?

Anyone know anything about this? I've heard rumours that this was coming, and the latest rumour was that construction has begun in the Komoka area. I took a drive through, but only saw a sign stating "Porsche Power Centre - coming soon". I think this is a tuner shop.

They have done temporary satellite sales events here in London at the convention centre. I went to them and didn't get the feeling that they'd be setting up shop. I also heard that they were going to partner with an existing dealer here in London to service Porsches, but that hasn't happened either.

I was out driving in Komoka today and didn't see the sign. Where abouts is it?

I don't remember exactly, but if you head west on Oxford past the Oxford extension, it is on your left hand side. If you google Porsche Power Centre, it comes up with a website with the same guy who runs RPP Motorsports.

I had heard Brian Finch was thinking of opening a Porsche dealership and also heard he might team up with Pfaff. All of this is rumour though.

Heard from a reliable source that Brian Finch is indeed opening up a Porsche dealership in the South end of town. It will be nice not having to drive 2 hours for parts or service.

As much as I find this hard to believe, if you've got it from reliable sources that's excellent news. Not so much for me as a consumer, but for the industry. As you know, I make my living from used car sales/financing in SW Ontario, and the majority of our customer base is in the London area. If someone's got enough confidence in the area's economy to open up a high-end luxury dealership, that says a lot, and really makes me feel good about the shape of things to come.

Can you share your source, or does it have to remain confidential? I understand if it does, but I'd like to run it by a few guys I know in the industry.

Just spoke to a dealership owner in London, he confirmed it. Right across Southdale from their current location. This is REALLY good news for the local industry.

The source is Brian Finch himself. Can't get more reliable than that

I'm not sure if he is partnering with Pfaff as per my initial post. I had heard that previously as a rumour and I forgot to ask him.

The Porsche Power Centre is an independant. RPP Motorsports, previously in Hyde Park. It will be an impressive facility when it's done.

their website is down tonight, but may be up later.

I was there today - it will be an independent dealer, in used Porsche and Ferrari late models. The best thing - they are opening a state of the art shop - All wheel drive superflow chassis dyno, full 5 bay service, separate wash bay, engine dyno coming soon....... I can't believe we are going to have this type of facility in London!
